OS first with the news again ; - )

Why only a non-contract basis? I think this proves the TO is off ; - )
  • could be an extended trial too though.

Far too sensible a reason. That's not how to do a conspiracy : - )
  • Another good signing, nice one Parky.
  • Whats a 'Non Contract basis' mean? Could he still sign for someone else?
  • a week by week deal I would guess
  • how tall is this small fella?
  • Good, as I said in the match thread we need an alternative to Sam. Hopefully he'll be desperate to impress and win a contract.

  • Good signing and hopefully the first of a few this week.
  • much better tag line than the OS, I should work for a red top......

I thought Small was a left winger so will play the opposite side to Sam? Therefore his signing must clearly mean that Bailey is on his way ;-)
There you go Henry, there's your conspiracy.

Can play 'either flank' according to OS

    End of conspiracy :-)
  • Hope signs on a perm basis soon, thought looked handy for wednesday, and all my swillsborough m8s don't know why they didn't offer him a new deal

or maybe the new manager doesn't fancy him.

  • What does this non-contract thing mean then as I don't get it? haha
  • Whats a non contract basis?

Heard he was useful in pre season. Certainly a better alternative to Wagstaff who from what I've seen is not ready yet by a long way.

Good signing+ Parky...good analogy there dabos...well done lad.
  • [cite]Posted By: razil[/cite]how tall is this small fella?
5' 7". So he is. Small.

And, according to someone who called into a Danny Baker football phone in, and refrered to the time he wandered into the home team changing room after a game a few years ago at Highbury, Emmanuel Petit also ... "is".
  • Did I see somewhere on here that he's an addicks fan?
  • [cite]Posted By: kodfish[/cite]Did I see somewhere on here that he's an addicks fan?

    That was an inaccurate story.
  • Kandol is......
  • On the pitch he has played well but having met him off the pitch he will have to do a lot to win me over.

Not only did he tell me he has supported Palace from a young age he also took time to tell me he had very little time for Charlton, I can only assume he has signed for us as desperate times have called for desperate measures at this stage in his career.

He struck me as a very aggressive and arrogant young man.
  • be good signing, wish we should just sign him permanent. im guessing he's a cert to start tomorrow at hereford then :-)

best of luck to him, be very useful can be played on either wing also hopefully can put bailey in centre that way!
  • i think its a sign of the times for professional footballers outside of the premiership. too many half decent players are being let go by clubs to save on wages. if there arent that good then they may need to play into a team for a contract. good news i say. i work in the nhs and still you work under a probationary period for 6 months until you get your permanent deal. think that should be the case for transfers. only paid after 6 months if you sign permanent.
