[cite]Posted By: pilchard[/cite]He was shite- granted! Milne stayed longer and someone actually rated him at the time, he was the archytypal footballing parasite and a disgrace to our shirt, unfit fat useless cnut he was!
Yes, but Ralph was a loveable parasite and knew that he was hopeless - mainly because of his 10 pint per night social habits. Compare and contrast with Jerome Thomas and Marcus Bent who were dogshit and could not have cared less about the club but walked about like they were Florent Malouda and Didier Drogba.
Malouda's just as shit as Thomas. Overpaid, overrated ponce.
Bermuda....Tony Towner is a good call. Pretty poor for us....but did get a couple of goals and set up Flanagan for a late header at Sheff U....and possibly holds the record for being the smallest man ever to score a header for Charlton! (v Leeds at home....lost 3-2). Agree he wasn't the best!!
Milne was a useless, lazy fat c***. However, you would have to go some to find a less talented player than Amdy Faye. He was utterly, unspeakably dreadful - and being paid about 20 grand a week into the bargain. Shite.
Behave. Even if Barnes WAS pants for us (he wasn't) the through ball he laid on a plate for Pringle against Liverpool at the Valley alone would have elevated him into one of our best players that season it was that good.

I've got the Jimmy Seed book somewhere, I'll dig it out and scan the page....
positional play of a suicide bomber[/quote]
Eh? Yeah that was how he ended up those England caps.
Sounds like an irrational dislike to me.
I think I may well have been mistaken when I said it was in the Jimmy Seed Story.
I subsequently found it, quite by chance, in Colin Cameron's book as referred to above.
Anyone signed by Iain Dowie.
Add to that Bagheri - "Asian Zidane" my arse - and Blomqvist (how he played for ManYoo I have no idea).
Still, my arse he was.
