Because it was after the meeting proper, Len. :-) I went up to get a copy of the Supporters Direct leaflet as I didn't get one at the beginning because I was late, introduced myself to Ben as a fellow lifer, and made a quick crack about the lack of knitwear on display, which he then had to explain to the SD bloke.
I'm a bookie and at 11/4 with us (you could probably get 3/1 with some firm somewhere) I am (for the first time EVER) going to back Millwall. How dirty is that. classic value.
I watched this game and it just confirmed my opinion that Millwall will be a huge threat in this league. Southampton have some better individual players but Millwall are a real team. They just seemed to look like they knew what they were meant to be doing and were determined to try to bring that about.
All in all I think that a Southampton win would have been the best result because if we consider both of them as promotion rivals then surely it's better to let the team 10 points behind us have 3 points. In April we could well be wondering how this question could ever have been asked.
Taking the 'only Charlton matters' view, then Pardew has done us far more damage than Millwall ever have.
Saw some of it on Sky pre-match in Bartrams. Couldn't believe that it was only us and one or two others who booed when the arrogant sh*t was shown on camera...

Only result that matters is being played in SE&
I thought we were all about Charlton .......?
;o)
plus riot leading to fines, ground closures and away fan bans.
Good to meet you on Tuesday BTW.

Ahh that was the Premiership though. ;)
If I remember, we ain't won since beating Burnely 3-2 in the 07/08 season, which was roughly in November time.
Since then we have been beat by everyone except West Brom.
Suffice to say any loss will have nothing to do with Pardew any victory will be everything to do with Pardew!
Why wasn't it in the minutes? :-)
I think Aliwibble's suggestion is best!
agreed.... no dislike of anything in football can compare to my feelings with them *****
