Just like to say a big Thank you for finding some answers we were crying out for. The recent statement on the OS now shows what great work you are doing so we can get the gist of what is going on.

I understand the board need to keep things quiet but its nice to get a response. Obviously situations like these are currently worthwhile when we worry about the current state of our club.

Long may it continue

    Kind words - thanks.

Keep the views coming, though. Our work is far from done here and we need constructive guidance from all fans if we are to convey the consensus view to the Club.
  • What is the plan now Dave? just wait until we get answers or start banging on the door again if we havn't heard in a couple of weeks?

Yes, in truth, we really got another holding statement with Friday's update from Richard and Derek. The main thing though is that we at least know that the deal is still progressing. Many thought that the apparent inactivity indicated that it had died, but we know now that isn't true.

We need to respect the fact that there seems to be little of the detail that can be told to us, but yes ...... if we don't have a clear idea of progress in about a week, we'll go knocking on the door again.

I'm happy that Tuesday's Supporters' Trust meeting goes ahead effectively with the Club's blessing. As Henry said on another thread, the ST initiative doesn't need to be endorsed by the Club, but it is better if fans and Club are pulling in a similar direction.

The wider implication from Friday's statement is the realisation by the Club that the fans are owed some news. We may not have got much, but the precedent is set and I'd hope that we'll see more regular updates as a result. If not, we'll continue to nag.
  • Good man.Keep it up.
  • No news is good news....
  • Well done, Dave , as always and a sad farewell to Tel.
