OK we're stuck with Reed. What now, he heads for the great transfer window in the sky in January. How does he persuade talented players that their future is with Charlton? Big problem, he seems quite able to talk the positive talk, but can he walk the walk? Does he realise that we are competing with all comers for that special signature. What can he offer? He's got no track record or reputation as a manager of stature to attract players, in fact the reverse is now true with all the adverse press that Charlton is attracting. I'll expect he's got a shortlist but, just like Dowie, he'll have to settle for second best, or maybe third or fourth best. You see nobody really wants to come!!!!
