New Charlton song. or an old one updated!

Thought I would write a new Charlton song based on Bob Dylan's 'Blowin in the wind' It is being used a tv commercial so Mr Zinnerman's epic I hope is not totally wrecked by my feeble attempt, but I thought we needed something that expressed our current plight.... some might say it is a protest song, some might say it is a lament..... I could not possibly comment,

How many roads must a fan walk down
Before you call him a red?

Yes, 'n' how many grounds must a charlton fan see

Before they return to the premiership?

Yes, 'n' how many times must the football fan chant

Before they're forever banned?

The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind,

The answer is blowin' in the wind.

How many years can the valley exist

Before it's washed into the Thames?

Yes, 'n' how many years can Charlton persist

Before they're allowed to be free?

Yes, 'n' how many times can a fan turn his head,

For a board that cannot see?

The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind,

The answer is blowin' in the wind.

How many times must a man look up
Before he can see Charlton on sky?
Yes, 'n' how many years
Before he can hear fans cry?

Yes, 'n' how many managers deaths will it take
till he knows
That too many players we've tried?

The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind,
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

As it is an old song hope no one else has tried this , if they have well at least I tried.
