I totally agree with your comment Telnotinoz - for the first time in my 38 years of supporting the team I am not looking forward to the start of the season.
The silence coming out of the club and total disregard for us loyal supporters is reminiscent of the Glicksten era - yet again thousands of us have bought season tickets (I think in the hope that we would have a new owner, new manager and a bit of money for some quality players), yet two weeks before the first game we don't know if Matt Holland is still with us, is Gray staying or going, ditto long serving Jon Fortune, will Shelvey, Bailey and Racon still be with us, and why are McLeod, Sinclair, Spring and Parkinson still here. And what the f*** is the secrecy about the new away shirt???
I hope I'm wrong but if there is no positive news over the next week I really fear for the future of this club - my club, your club.

It was good of him to reply, but all it (basically) said was "Talks are on-going........"
football clubs are businesses now and they only divulge information to those that have to know. i hate to see my club go through this again but here goes. i dont go to many games anymore but do enjoy pulling on my shirt when i do. big credit is due to all who have bought season tickets, but im sure there are a few thousand more that will pay regularly on the gate. times a re hard financially and perhaps some people arent able to pay up the full season money in advance. we are still one of the best supported clubs (at home) in this division. go back 25 years and it was totally different. look where leeds are now! they are a bigger club than charlton whichever way you look at it and they have no right to success either. their fans (spit) still turn up because they are leeds. our fans still turn up becasue we are charlton. better times are ahead!!!

we are very low on confidence the team has some very significant quality gaps....
If we can get acouple of wins and a couple of draws early doors the gloom could lift.... the crowds be up and positive.... and christ how incredible would it be to go into a game confident of a win!!!

So they put the money in out of love for the club did they? so why are they haggling for more back? If I had a million bonus on top of my basic salary I would have GIVEN it to the club not lent it in the form of shares or loans. In percentage of salary terms me and thousands of others have paid more for our seats than them and expected nothing in return other than sound board decisions and player commitment.

I'm having difficulty staying within the unwritten rules and ettiquete of the board.....there's a few things I'd like to say to you but admin would go balistic if I said what I really want to!
Just to say that there are of course different factions and different reasons why some directors need to get their money out(none of them expect to make a brass farthing of course)......and if you've got some inside info as to why Zabeel pulled out we'd love to hear it....but we of course know you haven't........ no you'd rather spread unfounded inuendo and cast aspertions on people you've never even met.....let alone know their names.

Agree with what Tel postsN but I am still going to barnet today, then comparing it with celtic and spurs at wembley tmrw and then ipswich tuesday.
Having said that, I still haven't looked at the fixture list for this season. Don't read the official site etc and everything about the club gets me quite angry for various reasons. not just being bitter, I have my reasons!
