  • We need cover at CB and preferably a player who can play in the CCC if/when we get promoted, Dailly isn't getting any younger, Sodje likes red cards, Llera might be stepping up above his level, plus we could use cover at CB now.
  • Fortune is exactly what we don't want.

We have players now who show passion and committment and the oppo don't like playing against them.

For once the oppo get battered - not us and that is one of the main reasons why we are successful.

If we go back to Fortune, the oppo will be very happy. He is an 'After you if you want to go past me Mr CF' type of shadow boxer.

    End of.
  • [cite]Posted By: Oggy Red[/cite]I don't think Leeds are playing without an entire 1st choice back 4.

They've not had the number of injuries we have had (nor the self-inflicted suspensions). But it usually averages out over a season - every team gets hit, sooner or later.

When was the last time we fielded Richardson, Sodje, Dailly and Youga all together......?

    14th November. We beat MKD 5-1 :-)

14.25 Central defender Jonathan Fortune has signed a new short-term contract at Sheffield United.
  • just read the article

"Jonathan Fortune has signed a new contract at Sheffield United.

The 29-year-old has only featured twice for the Blades this season, but boss Kevin Blackwell has been impressed with his contribution and was keen to offer the former Crystal Palace man another short-term deal. "

  • Lol - he did have a big impact in Palace's season to be fair.
  • John boy showing that ambition and determination he always did - 2 appearances in half a season and he would rather pick up the money and carry on sitting on the bench
  • Good way to celebrate a new contract as he scores in 12 minutes against Reading

  • Forch took that goal well in a crowded box, great composure, great control.
