During the dizzy heights of our Premiership success some nerd would sit there at his computer prior to every season and assure every Premiership kit was up to date.

Unfortunately that is no longer the case and so I took it upon myself to recreate our kit in Wikipedia form. I hope it meets the clubs very high standards.

Does anyone even use Robins and Valiants anymore?

When I was a kid, in the sixties, I thought that Valiants had been the nickname since God was a boy and I liked it. But I started hearing my older relatives refer to us as the Addicks. I hated it, I couldn't cope with it being anything to do with fish, or dialects or mispronounced words. Robins was OK but I also hated the Red Red Robin song.

Now I'm in my middle years, I can't abide Valiants, don't mind Robins (although I never use it) I love Red Red Robin and I sing it out on match days. As for Addicks, for me it was, is and shall ever be our unique nickname.

My how the passage of life changes us through a process of enlightenment!
