During another fruitless visit to the OS to check for the 'anouncement' I inadvertantly clicked on the History/Centenary link and found a number of links I have not seen before. Some of these are very interesting such as Greatest Midfielder, Greatest Attacker, Greatest Managers. There is another link called 'Charlton Managers' which I assume is a list of all of Charlton's managers but the list does not include the last four managers! I did not realise that Mike Bailey had a win ratio of 49.2% over 65 games.
There is another link called 'Greatest Games' which is a list of someones view of the top 20 games involving Charlton. I am sure we could all argue about whether particular games should be included or the order of the list but I started counting the number of games in this top 20 that I was actually at. Which is as follows.
Charlton 1 0 Porstmouth
Charlton 4 4 Sunderland
Charlton 4 2 Chelsea
Charlton 5 0 Southampton
Leyton O 0 0 Charlton
That is only 5 (25%) but I am sure there are some Charlton Lifers out there who could easily beat that.
