O/S sweepstake

Bit off the wall but whilst we all wait with baited keyboard fingers at the ready for any official news how about we have a sweepstake ie When the word "TAKEOVER" will appear on the O/S in context of Charlton's between now and the start of the season.

Could pay a fiver a pop and choose any date etc and either yes, no or ongoing. The poster with the nearest correct answer eg " TAKEOVER appearing on the O/s on 21st July. Not going ahead" will win, I dont know £20 beer vouchers for the wycombe game or a signed shirt etc and the rest goes to Demelza?

Not making light of our current situation but might bring about a bit of much needed light relief (easy there Sid James) and raise some cash for the charity.

    They don't necessarily have to mention a takeover at all. They could just explain the situation regarding administration and our debt.

    In that case all the dosh would go to charity if not mentioned by kick off day.

    Dosh? A takeover might have fallen through, and they wouldn't have to mention it (though I guess we'd all like to think they would).

    Dosh as in entry money. As i say if it doesnt get mentioned between now and then then all the entry money goes to Demelza.

    Apparently they are already translating it into arabic as we speak.

    With the secret policeman's ball coming up between AFKA and Monsieur Le Chappell I'm not so sure the sweepstake wouldn't be just a tad loaded...
