  • Played for Charlton against Wexford

Yeah he's not a youngster, just not seen as good enough for Swansea any more. After a year of barely playing at all might not even be up to League Two standard, though he seems to have the type of character Parkinson wants, which is probably part of the reason he gave him a game.
  • If he's not good enough for us, maybe he could be moved on to Millwall.

Or is that a case of throwing Kristian to the Lions?

    taxi for Oggy ; - )
  • Read he is a defender converted by Swansea (boss Jacket) in to a defensive midfielder and had his best season at Swansea in that role.

    Same position as Jose Semedo.
  • Center back? Full back?
  • Played as an out and out center back against Wexford, was a little slow (maybe fitness) perhaps but very strong in the air and quite decent with the ball at his feet for a big fella. Obviously need to see him up against better opposition.
  • Center back at 5'11'' on the site thats linked. Prefer 'em a bit taller.

  • I see Bristol City have bought another defender, Nyatanga. This pushes their young centre-back James Wilson down the pecking order. I really rate this guy, good in the air, fearless, qick & young - go get him Parky! We don't need over the hill rejects from run of the mill sides.
  • I could handle them that size if he was dominant and we had other tall dominant players. As he seems to have played less and less football in recent years I suspect he's not quite dominant in league one, and this club needs big characters.

He seems to be a player that's all about his character, not sure he's dominant in the air though.

FM rates him as having decent ability for League One but Premier League potential, definitely worth getting then ;-)

Weren't Bristol City linked with Sodje? They probably won't be brining him in if they've just signed another centre back.
  • Seems he has been doing well with us. Swansea fans see him as a type of player Murty was for Reading.
Here is a link I found of a swansea forum saying about him:

    Tanker :(
  • Kristian O'Leary... sigh...

We're at this level now? He barely gets into my FM Welling/Stevenage/Gillingham teams...

And at 13st he doesn't exactly seem pacey.
  • Signed for Leyton Orient on loan.
  • I wonder if they've signed him because they are losing Mykandwire (spelling!)- just a thought!

Despite his error for our goal, I thought he looked good and would be happy seeing him in our shirt
