  • Hi Stu, remember some great away trips back then. Ipswich, Northampton, plus all the Millwall matches. I was a bit younger than you but always remember a full leather coat you wore(Mod essential), couldn't afford one myself, very envious of yours.

    Hope you are keeping well.

I'm fine...had a heart attack a few years back but have come through it pretty well considering.
Still an Addick....thought I could walk away a few months back and actually missed five home games follwing the Doncaster fiasco.....simply found I couldn't do it long term...back now in all our glory...mad as ever though my rucking days are of course well behind me...still have the urge sometimes but common sense tells you you're past it...difficult to accept when some twat upsets you but it comes to all of us eventualy....walking away and swallowing was never my style....ah happy days they were back in the 60's that's for sure...none better we were bloody lucky being teenagers during that era.
    How about yourself?
  • Get a room............
  • Thanks for asking, I'm fine.

Miss those days like hell, Charlton on a Saturday, clubs during the week (The Austral in Sidcup especially) and down the Black Prince, Bexley on Sunday to see Georgie Fame, Zoot Money, Geno Washington etc, etc.

    Christ I feel old.
