Just to lighten the mood a little!

With the rise of a few five a side soccer centres throughout the country in the past few years (Goals etc.), I was wondering if any of you have entered teams with amusing names.

In my younger days (some years ago now!) myself and some mates entered an evening 5 a side competition under the name of Athletico Sidcupo. We ended up winning the trophy. It was amusing on prize night to hear the guy doing the presentations call out our name!

    Not that amusing, but my current 7-a-side team are called The Legion Of Doom

    Have seen various Inter Yamam, Inter Yadad combinations. There was a team called Borussia Teeth when I was at uni.

    There are hundreds of teams called Norfolk n Chance. Must be the most popular 5-a-side/pub quiz team name.

    i remember playing them down catford powerleague a couple of years ago.

    my favourite last season was 'Breast Rummage Albion'.

    My mate plays for a Sunday League team called A3 Milan.

    My lot play Far From Athletic which I like too.

    Also heard of one called Dyslexic Untied.

    The 'Rehab Rockets' were the only team I played for and won a trophy with in many, many years of being kicked, shoved, and flattened. And no, it wasn't that sort of 'Rehab'!

    FC Helmet (in Belgium...they were a proper 11 a sde club!!)
    Brown Fiasco (another Belgian side...shithot...slaughtered us....named after a local bar..christ knows what went on in there!!)

    Down at Catford I played for a Sporting Lesbian but left them to go and play for Porn Star Belgrade.

    Are Wild Geese Exiles CC still going? - I actually guested for them a couple of times down at Hall Place.........

    I recently played for an over-50's vets team called Jurassic Park but, in my younger days, turned out on various occasions for Fake Madrid, Bayern Large and Athletic Support.

    The highlight came last summer though. I played in a tournament alongside my four grown-up sons as AFC Rudd took the field.

    We were crap, losing in the Final of the Plate .......... but I absolutely loved it.

    Depotivo Lacaclass were one I played for years ago. Some of the names are brilliant I've just read.
