  • Yeah you're a disgrace OoohAaah.

Where were you when we were shit.

Indeed, where are you when we ARE shit??

    Disgrace.
  • I expected more than 321 yesterday purely because of the Blackpool factor (blimey there was as many Charlton inThe Walkabout last season) and I have been the first to have a dig in the past when that team deserved bigger numbers. Everton in 06-07 the best example.

But this team are shite and I would rather spend my money on my kids than watching us cave in, I love away games but cant see me going this season to be honest.

There are gonna be some shocking turnouts later on, Sheff Utd over xmas, Burnley, Barnsley...
  • Even if the travel was free I don't think many would bother either.

I've been offered to buy tickets for the Cov game for a fiver.

The fact I'm 50/50 is just very sad.
  • I used to go to the majority of away matches but no longer - apart from the london matches. Cant be bothered to waste my time sitting in a car for hours upon end, up and down the bloody motorway...Oh and watching crap football for a couple of hours in between. So much easier and cheaper listening to the match on the radio and then hit the pub. As Robert Zimmerman once said: O the time they are a changing.
  • Would it be alright to lighten the mood with a couple of away day stories (from long ago) or is now not the time?
  • going to Norwich and Sheff Utd but swerved Blackpool. Probably missed as many this season than I have in the last ten combined. Why would you spend upwards and 50 quid and waste a whole day to watch this shower of shite. Going to Narwich as my boss is a Narwich fan and me and Mrs Large visit him and his wife for dinner afterwards. Going to SHeff Utd as after six days with the MIL I need to get out for a day.
  • Goin Norwich as my son is mascot, want to go Sheff Utd but Father in Law is 60 day before and think we are visitin that day.
  • Our away support or lack of aint even an issue.
  • interesting read over the 2 years
  • As I live in Medway- and my 13 year old son comes down from Bexley every other fortnight, if CAFC aren't at home I tend to go to see Gillingham, otherwise I am backwrds and forwards up the A2. Mind you we DO go to all the Home games. If I can't make it (only once or twice a season,) his uncle takes him and if my son can't make it , as will be the case with the Derby game, (He be away on a school trip) I go alone. I have only missed the Bristol City game this season as I was in Reading at a rock concert that night but from what he tells me I didn't miss much!
I keep trying to persuade him to come with me to an away game and we may get to do it before the seasons out if not we will definatley take in one next season, whatever division we may be in!

  • Going Norwich and Shef Utd while back in UK over Christmas... not bothered how the team is doing, just gutted i'm not doing more this season being abroad... whatever division we are in next season will still do 15+ when back in blighty
  • I'll be honest being a single bloke suffering as much as most others are (money chaps) away days have had to take a back seat. If I had the money I would do every one but shit happens so a season off doing as many as some is within my tolerance span
  • Definitely going to Norwich, managed to book the train for only £12 return
