Hi again
Just to let you know the best pub is of course the club bar, the Green Man, visiting fans welcome and we're all very approachable. There's plenty of beer and lager, several TV screens and we'll be doing hot food (plan at the moment is a choice of cottage pie or sausage and mash). Very tasty and good value (£3 usually)
We will also (and we don't do this for everyone) have some real ale on, Marstons Ashes Ale, described by the brewer as 'a very easy drinking light coloured patriotic ale at 4.1 % ABV, brewed with passion and desire to beat the Aussies and cheer the England team to victory '
Looking forward to seeing you all.

I wouldn't cater for more than 50......
Blinding!! More sausages for me then
A league game that distance would only attract about 600 at the moment.
This is a pre season friendly, that most people aren't interested in, some are on hols, some will be watching The Ashes etc etc.
I'd suggest emailing Charlton, and asking them to mention your clubhouse and that all Charlton fans are welcome, in their match preview.
Since when Mart?
I've already bought my train tickets and, no it hasn't gone down very well!
Bastards!!!!
Ha, ha!
I can't see more than 150 coming down if it's a CAFC XI...those that are coming..i'll see u in the bar
I'd buy a pack of 20 sausages if I was you :-)
LOL. Struggle to take that to a lot of League away games next season.
