Just overheard Dicko talking and he said that he's got some decisions to make in the next couple of weeks, and that he'd prefer to play in the Championship.
I have been a supporter of Chris, but this is a little presumptive eh Chris..... based on what exactly.... Where we are is where tour ability lies son, and I know the player you played with at Dulwich Hamlet who got you to Charlton!
Good to have a high opinion of yourself, let's see it translated on the pitch eh!. in a Charlton shirt
If anyone in the Championship signs him it'll be as a cheap risk as a squad player. He's no better than that at the moment and it's hard to see him developing by a huge amount.
[cite]Posted By: Chizz[/cite]I don't want anyone at Charlton whose ambition lies in the Championship. Does anyone think that Jonjo Shelvey's aims for his career are in tier two?
Dickson has to be playing regular first team football come August if he is to have any chance of going to the African Nations Cup in the New Year. If this doesn't look assured, I believe he will leave irrespective of what club he ends up at. Championship football would be his ideal but, lets face it, Gillingham would probably be as good a move as he could expect.
[cite]Posted By: se9addick[/cite]I thought Dickson looked disco crazy last night, him and Burton looked average together neither could score against WELLING!!!!
[cite]Posted By: The Red Robin[/cite]It must be all those goals he scored in the Championship that makes him think that! Why does everyone rate him?
I don't. I can see exactly why he was a good non league striker - quick, strong, ok in the air, selfish and with a bit of skill. No football brain, can't hold up the ball, not the hardest working or fittest striker.
Burton will be useful in League One, needs a goalscorer next to him, and our proper team behind him. Tuna on the left wing and Stavrinou & Spring in the middle isn't anywhere near our best midfield.

We need players like him to go back up

Football wouldn't be the same without it.
calm down son!
