Getting ready for the new season

edited July 2009 in General Charlton
So, July has arrived. had a break from most footie related things (apart from CL). Now gearing up for the new season.

Got the pre-season matches in the calendar
listed the away trips I would like to get to. (all of them)
listed the away trips I MUST get to (11 in total)
made sure last seasons replica kit is washed and ready to go (OK you may think it's 'chavvy' but who cares)
Looking forward to new players arriving the week after the friendlies finish (as always seems to happen at Charlton)
polishing my Charlton Life badge...

....and genuinely looking forward to the season.

Am I alone?

  • yes..
  • As always looking forward to it. With some trepidation but still looking forward.

Did you get the red and white CL badge or the Red and Gold? I couldn't decide so got both.

  • Aways look forward to it, the team normally finish me off by Christmas :(
  • Nope have a real downer on all things Charlton at the moment.
If they would just clear things up a little then we could get on with it, at the moment they have given us nothing and that is how i feel.
  • I'm not so much looking forward to the new season - nor dreading it.

    Just in limbo.

No worries, it's blue skies and salad days, so the football can wait it's turn.
