the Club must think so. Can't sell out 400 tickets for a Q & A with the Chairman in the current climate but can sell nearly 10,000 season ticket sales. They must think we are happy and they are doing well as if not we should be clammering for Q & A tickets, selling out, whilst renewals should be faltering at 5k.
FFS if you are doing nothing next Thursday get yer arse down The Valley and make your opinions known. If not, don't moan on here.

If you ain't happy then do somethin about it - if not then don't moan on here.
I will be there next week and certainly looking to ask a few questions.

Do you really think that the club is going to change over night simply because 250 people turn up and put there hands up to ask questions.
Everyone will clap them in and then clap them out, be fobbed off with we are try ing to do this and trtying to do that.
They have faith in Parkinson
Same old same old about Dowie and Pardew, how they overspent, how great a manager Curbs was, nothing will change, but from the boards point of view is a good PR exercise as they are facing the fans.
In all bussiness when clients stopping coming through the door thats when the power to be take notice not a some Q&A session
They are only gonna let on what they want, yes you may get some interesting snippetts but all these people marching in there demanding answers is not gonna change anything.
If they cant afford they cant afford it and if they could would they be looking to get out?
If for one minute you think we are going to get new and revealing news ... then believe
Would be intrested how many times each of them two phrases will be used, funny how you have to be a season ticket holder for next season (does that make you a true fan, and one that is only entitled to an opinion) and even more worringly the club choose who attends the event??
However, it seems that we may have the dubious honour of meeting the notorious Nick Gray who is coming along as the guest of A N Other season tkt holder. Should be an interesting evening....
Agree
A few little pointers, been a season ticket holder for over 30 years, VG since it was launched, i didnt need to sit and listen too people clapping and listening to a load of old waffle where it went wrong and what they are trying to do to support the club. Actions speak larger than words, do the talking on the pitch and show a bit of fight.
I started to go to Charlton when we were potless, had a rubbish team, followed them all over the country and watched is get beat on a cold night in Tranmere 4-0, had season tickets at Selhurst Pk and Upton Pk, the fact is maybe the club do need more fans like me,NSS,and Riskises, they are the passionate ones that care, and not ones that feel they support the club because they attend Q&A sessions, how many of them 250 will be in Hartlepool, CArlisle, Swindon????? They are true fans
The apathy amongst our fans is palpable...yes the club havent done much in the way of helping that, so as a fans group we lay on a Q&A session with both the top dogs present for the first time ever, so that you can shoot from the hip...ask what you want..... and yet that too seems to be met with apathy and criticism.
Do nothing and say nothing and nothing will change....its your choice.
perhaps the club were being smart only opening it up to next years season ticket holders? I can't get a pass at the moment as I have a 5 week old son to look after, otherwise I'd be there. Having said that I want a statement now not at some fan forum event (no disrespect)
Tel - It's an amazing achivement that you've managed to get this board who seem to have no intrest in communicating with their fan base round the table. Even if no one else does, trust me, I'll be asking them some tough questions - I hope they have some good answers.
Also, as me and Nick Gray will be in the same room at the same time it will dispell the myth that we are the same person, can't wait to hear what he's got to say - if he speaks like he writes it'll be very entertaining and spot on.
There's bound to be people who think it's a waste of time or have other commitments, but it's not like we're asking for every season ticket holder to go. There's been a lot of complaining on here about not knowing what's going on and lack of communication and we thought that was the general feeling among fans, so not being able to find 400 people (or however many it is) who want to go and ask questions to murray and chappel is a massive surprise to me.
what tel says about apathy is spot on. and it's sad to see.
In my mind you're not charlie big potatoes if you go and you're not "plastic" if you don't. Simples.
