Had someone shot dead 30 yards from my front door last month. Opened my daughters bedroom window and saw the area cordoned off and the forensics officers doing their sweep. The strange thing is that despite the initial curiousity once i heard it was a black on black drug killing i hardly gave it a second thought. It happens so often that you just become immune.
