[cite]Posted By: falconwood_1[/cite]Anyone know what connection there is with this mob? We seem to play them every year.
No we don't?
Connection is we sold them Charlie Macdonald and we got first dibs on their YOOF if we play a friendly from time to time but it aint every year I can assure you!
Yes it was Steve Avery!!! He taught at Hazelwick in Creepy Crawley - Officially a LEG-END he made me do cross country in my boxers but was a great teacher other than that.

Dazzler, Dave Mehmet Did you both go to Hazelwick in Crawley then? So did me and another poster here, YTS. Few years ago admittedly, but can still remember Avery making us run up hills
Ah I see. Dazzler, I missed you by a mere.....10 years. Aside from me and my brother I can only remember meeting a couple of other addicks at school. When I first started goin to charlton in 86 there was 5 charlton fans that travelled to selhurst on the train (including us). Went down to my parents after a home game a couple of years ago and coulnt believe how many charlton got off there. Definitely a chelsea town all day long but was good to see so many supporters.

Another Link may be Mr Avery (helps coach the yoof or used to was/is a p.e teacher in crawley too.)
If it's Steve Avery, he used to be my pe teacher too (he was a top bloke)
When did we get that? Never heard that before.
Have we ever signed anyone from them?
