    Red White Blue?

Ooops. I read shirt not shorts!
  • red, white and blue (in 1923)
  • Correct. A very dark blue. For one year, we wore striped shirts (rather like the colours of Wycombe Wanderers' quarters - another fact for that thread) with navy blue shorts.
  • Are we talking home kits here?
  • Was the Catford Southend kit and inspired the recent blue away kit.
  • What was the name of the first ever Charlton Goal scorer?

Tommy Dowling in the football league not sure about 1905!
  • yeah that's the closest thing I could find so we went through many years of existance without ever scoring a recorded goal!

    Not really.

First record game we won 6 - 0 at home. The first Lewisham league match was won 6 - 1 away with two goals each from Mills and Line and one from Bonner and J Mitchell.

    Charlton's record that season was

    P 18 W 17 D 1 L O

All been downhill since then. I blame Mills (Mosky that is, not Andrew)
