Is Tony Adams back on the sauce?

In his own little world.

Joking aside, it would be very sad if he was.

  • It's fair to say he's always been in his own little world, his MOTD interviews this season were very odd.
  • never liked him as a player a person and would be sick as hell to ever see him linked with serious tones about him being our manager the bloke is a fool
  • Why on earth he thought Celtic would even entertain him when he was rubbish at both Wycombe and Pompey is beyond me.
  • Even after his Wycombe experience, i was convinced he had the potential to go on and be one of England's truely great managers.

    Starting to look unlikely now.

Did he refuse to sign your autograph book or something....blimey!!
  • ''you have a 50% chance of winning something up there''

slightly better than the 25% chance down here !!

Nice, break it to her gently!
  • Funny enough, I heard the interview on Talksport, and I thought he is either back on it or losing the plot, sounded very strange.
  • He's turned into a very odd bloke.

The interview with him on SSN last night was very mad staring eyes time and had a ring about it like someone who is depressed to me.

    Big shame really.

I remember on MOTD they picked up on how depressed he looked at Portsmouth. The guy needs to get some help.
  • he should know where to get it and he should have people close to him often enough at his sporting chance clinic, i dont like the guy but i wouldnt take pleasure in him falling off the wagon or suffering from a mental illness
  • Reading that interview, it really doesnt seem like hes in a good way mentally...
  • The Dutch fella says he hasn't spoken to him for months.....
  • Let's face it, he must be pretty desperate after his Wycombe and Portsmouth disasters and probably thinks he has half a chance at Celtic, so is putting his name in the frame. The Bhoys are not in strong financial shape. They can't afford to pay compensation to get any decent manager already being employed and maybe Adams thinks his playing reputation and limited managerial experience (however undistinguished) as well as his availabilty and general desperation might give him half-a-chance. Unless of course he really is back on the bottle. Either way he's not getting the job.
