I seem to have a spyware problem that I can't identify running spyware checkers or prevent new tabs poping up when I am on either firefox or internet explorer. at the moment there are a cluster of web pages which are a group called diagonalmente,any clues how to get rid of this crap

Run MalwareBytes - that will get rid of most regular Malware infections. Failing that, you could spend hours pissing around with Ad-Aware, SpywareBlaster, SpyBot, HijackThis and all manner of other tools, but if you can't get rid with MB, it might be best to reinstall your operating System - that's the only sure-fire way of getting rid of a malware infection.
