Football fixtures next season

sitting here in the armpit of engalnd ( whitechapel ) bored and willing the minute hand to move faster to beer oclock so started to think how do they pick the fixtures

A) boxing day games always seem neae
B) naughty games always seem to be at night
C) normal home then away
D) try an avoid potential clashes of teams derby teams playing away at same place

so do they pick a b c and d then chuck all the rest up in the air and play some kind of giant pears..................then after that and a fat lunch a bit of fine tuning

or is there super doper computer

I read about this last year, there actually really is one bloke who figures it all out. It's even more complicated than that because almost every team is paired with another team and those two can't be at home at the same time (I think we're paired with either Palace or Millwall) so that has to be taken into account.

I can't believe it's not done by computer.
