  • What mug is paying 626 quid for Leeds?
  • So we compare pretty well then for price.
Couple of things though, if Norwich have sold 17k, then that's over £8m in season ticket sales already!
Also who in their right mind would pay £550 to watch Colchester!!

RE:Norwich - They would be adult prices so maybe lots of kids and may have to give a lot back but still very impressive.
  • Stockport's Edgeley Road £287.50

    FFS !
  • That does make Norwich's initial 17k even more impressive!

Hopefully these low prices will mean away games should be quite cheap next season.

'm looking forward to next season, no doubt that will have ended by September!
  • The Valley = VFM.
  • But Norwich started selling their season tickets in February with a heavy discount (£100 in some cases) if bought before April and a promise of 20% refund if they are relegated. This now looks like a desperate measure just to keep going until end of the season and now they cannot even fulfill their promise of the 20% refund saying it would mean they would have to go into administration. So, £8 million in ticket sales already but it seems most of it has already been spent just surviving until the end of the season.
  • How many do the Spanners sell each season ?
    And why ?
  • Well on that basis I think I:ll support Huddersfield Town next season then.
    Great, sorted

  • The seats at £617 were been sold for £427 if bought before end of Febuary.

Norwich Seacon Ticket prices in January
  • And Leeds still get decent crowds all season. Over 35k there last sat and Milwall is already sold out!
  • I'll have a look at those prices as I do have the official figures somewhere....
  • I'm really quite shocked by some of these prices, £465 at Bristol Rovers???? Works out at over £20 per match, given there is usually a saving on season tickets compared to the standard price what is a single match ticket in that area? Generally the prices aren't too bad but the majority of these stadiums aren't the most comfortable places to watch football, having said all that maybe I've been spoilt watching football at the Valley (in terms of price and seated area not quality of football over the last couple of years)
  • Hi, I'm new on here....

Those prices btw are excluding any "early bird" offers, and nearly all clubs except ours offered varying degrees of "deals."

Correct SE8, Norwich started selling their tickets at the turn of the year with big discounts. Their flyer even considered promotion to the Premiership!

  • hmmm...C your source isnt that accurate mate, Ive just checked the official figures and a lot of them are cheaper than you state mate....
  • My sauce told me that the prices do not take into account any discounts, family tics or sign up early deals. Just plain vanilla buy in August Adult season tickets. What sauce your say?

Most clubs do let you buy on HP though.
  • Some of the prices make it very attractive for Daddies to take their kids.
  • my sauce even has all the average attendances for the season and the percentage that are season ticket holders....ner

    :-)

Ive heard they do a deal for Daddies too
  • did you know that 61.4% of Southends average attendance are ST holders? and 68% at Northampton....and 77% at Colchester!!!!!

    This is an anoraks delight.....
  • 68% at Northampton .... that's Cobblers
  • Barnsley = 46%

    Thats the pits.........
  • Lets see what is the worst ratio.....

    erm Tranmere 37.3%
  • Brentford £395 ....... ? That's the Bees Knees.
  • I would have thought the Lion's share of Millwall's support would be ST holders.
  • [cite]Posted By: TelinOz[/cite]Lets see what is the worst ratio.....

    erm Tranmere 37.3%

    Charlton 10% ;o)
