Only realised last night how many players the Jills have at the moment with links to us, Simon Royce, Josh Wright, Barry Fuller, Mark McCammon and probably a few more I haven't realised yet
  • He played deep in midfield protecting the back four and floated around.

Did ok, but not sure he has it to be in the hussle and bussle in the middle of the park.

On last nights game liked the look of Andy Barcham though . . .

Quick look on wikipedia, he only signed for them in January until the end of the season, so he might be out of contract (only 22 though, would we have to pay compensation?). Was at Spurs before Gillingham and had a loan at Leyton Orient.

I think we would have to pay some compensation - we did with Fleetwood even though he'd been at FGR for a season. The key thing is age not how long he's been at the club and whether they brought him through the youth/reserve teams, though the latter is a factor in how much compensation we'd pay.
  • Thinking about it wasn't the £125k for Dean Sinclair a 'development fee', similar to Fleetwood. He's not been there long and Spurs were the club that developed him, so I'd imagine it would be no more than what we paid for Fleetwood or Sinclair, £100k or so.
