As I live approx 10 miles from the Valley and i've only missed one home game all season (QPR on Boxing Day - ill) then I make that :
22 x 20 = 440 miles + 2 cup games (2x20 = 40 ) 480
then away games at Watford,Preston, donny,Forerst, palace, cardiff,Ipswich,Brum,Blackpool,Norwich (x 2, cup replay) Sheff Utd (ditto) barnsley,Swansea,Reading, wolves, saints, coventry,Derby = approx ????????
[cite]Posted By: addick1965[/cite]Only done 1089 miles as i only live a few miles from the valley and only did Doncaster,Cardiff and Swansea away this season
Hope none of the 'save the planet' brigade read this, they'll have us all supporting teams within walking or cycling distance of our front doors with away matches banned! Anyway, around 2,500 miles for us in a big old comfy gas guzzler.
Been to 14 games this season and since September have lived circa 1000 miles away from London
(to be fair only been to 7 of those after the move) but that's still a fair few thousand miles covered and four of the games were solely trips to football ie. outside of holiday time and with no other purpose for my return
13 homes from Kent (92 mile round trip) Watford, donny and Sheff U aways from Kent 6 homes from Bristol (254 mile round trip) Palace, Plymouth, Birmingham, QPR, Sheff Wed, Bristol City, Swansea, Reading and Derby aways from Bristol
.....totalling 5,559 miles of misery this year! Bring on League 1.

Plus games at Watford, QPR, Palace, Wolves, Derby, Sheff Wed, Sheff Utd (cup), Southampton, Norwich, Ipswich, Reading
One season, 2003/4 I think or the one after I did more aways than homes most of them on my todd!
I've been called sme things in my time but never "season mileage".
About 65 miles away from The Valley, missed three home league games I think, but went to the Yeovil and Norwich cup games plus Watford away.
Shocking behaviour 1965 :-)
return journeys to sheffield, swansea, doncaster, derby, watford, qpr, palace.
you do the maths.
bloody hell. i only done 7 aways this season. must do better.
Also 19 Away fixtures were 4845
In total 10,845 miles
Thank god Norwich were relegated!

Plus Palace, Soton and Derby away. Maybe 10 return to sell out, 140 to Soton and 300? to Derby
So another 450 making 800
I'd walk 800 miles for one of you goals, oh, Charlton
We all follow the Charlton over land and sea, and an occasional nearby away game.
that 14miles round trip or 1 way ?
