Yes and no. They are the quintessential "Yo-yo" team. In fact, if you looked up the definition of a yo-yo team in a dictionary of football, you'd find Middlesbrough in bold type, block capitals and an illustration. They always seem to find a way of wiggling their way back up to the premier league. in that respect, more like eels than yo-yo's.
Probably they will bounce back. Boro are not like us because they have more money. It used to be said that you can't buy success. Not true now even if it was true then.
Depends on who stays and who thinks he's better than a championship player. Boro, like us, have had a few years in the top flight. They are geared up for the premiership, it might be a bit of shock to them next season.

Are you sure ? They are £80M in debt. They are in the doo doo if they go down.
Newcastle will also be in trouble if they are relegated.
Boro are very similar to us, so they could be, but don't forget our predicament is not just about finances, its also about poor decisions and some bad luck.
am just looking forward to seeing boro get relagated. I never could stand the team, the football, the players. Season after season they escaped relegation but hopefully not this year.
Boro are as dull as dishwater. Ask most people to recall all the Premier League teams and the chances are they will get to 18 and forget Middlesbrough and probably Fulham.
