If the only comment in favour seems to be the devil you know...... that is hardly a ringing endorsement of anybody is it!
The fact is the board claimed that he would be judged on results, the results are very poor, and we got relegated.
In fairness not all Parkinson's fault, but he has to take his share of responsibility, if we had survived then people would not be so adament about him leaving IMO.
'The fact is we lost and we never gambled'...... the quote I used when we did not replace Pardew with another manager.
There seems to be something very wrong with the English game that the clubs that have been in the premiership a few seasons ago have gone into freefall, and I do not think Charlton will be the last club to be in this position over the next few years!
[cite]Posted By: RalphMilnesgut[/cite]"The club said they would review at the end of the season. Season's not over yet".
Really? I thought it was all over in December.
The white flag was hoisted in December when the last "review" decided that Parky's showing in his first 8 games was sufficiently good for him to get the job. This is the same mentality that defines that taking us from two points from safety to ten points from safety as an "improvement".
