haha i know all four people in those pics, i used to go to school with Tamer for the last 6 years, was in alot of his lessons, hes a good player, really quick and im sure he has a bright future
I have known Tamer since before he went to Charlton. My sons have played with his brother who was at Gravesend and Northfleet and he was the top striker in the under 16 team that won the kent cup.
I have known and seen Tamer since he was 5, a great little player who has always scored goals, has a natural ability and time on the ball.
It has been claimed that he was always one of the best lads at the academy, and has a natural ability to score. I know I have played against him in various training and friendly games, the lads he was with were all Kent county and academy players, Charlton, Gillingham, and West Ham the difference was he was two years younger and still was the best striker on the pitch ( which by the way included my own son, who was also a Kent striker)
I last saw him play at Highbury and he scored two goals in 25 minutes, frankly the way he took the goals were as good as I have seen any young lad do. Obviously I am biased because I have known the lad, but having trained and managed several clubs in the kent league and Bexley league I think I know a decent player, he is that.
Frankly I am surprised he is still at Charlton, (I thought he would have got snapped up by West Ham or Arsenal) but still has a way to go to get experience and be the finished article.
Lets hope for all our sakes he develops into a first rate striker, because lets admit it guys the 'lard arses 'we have at present could hardly cut the Sunday league in Charlton Park !
Just remind me again how many goals our top striker got this season...... yeah! well Tamer is only 17 and played for 12 minutes so guys give the young lads a chance hey! or would you like another dose of no mark loanees!
Seriously at a moment in the Blackpool game he was running off the shoulder of their centre half when Sam was running with the ball - logically it would be good to see Sam release a ball just behind the centre half and see how he goes but no, Sam turned back and passed back, a moment now gone.....
What if he did that and Tuna sunk the Seasiders?????????
Fish puns aside, how do you pronounce his first name? Is it tame-air? Hope he can keep his feet on the ground with sorts like that circling. quote. Well his parents pronounce it 'Tameer' his grandparents are from Cyprus. He lives in Bexley, with his parents an attended the local grammar school.
Yer, i went to primary school with him. Its nice to see one of your own in a Charlton shirt. jolly robin......
Then you will know how good he is then, who my twins sons are, and who I am, enough said eh......
well most of us are making our opinions(all be it on 12 mins of football and it's gonna be an unsubstantiated one anyway) but i thought he made some intelligent runs but looked lightweight but time will tell ....
and remember anyone who makes their debut for us will have the blinkered 'he's the next best thing' ( jonjo is FACT) mob out as well as the more conservative 'wait and see' mob and the 'pessimistic' mob(mine) that think he's another pony waste of time like most of the newbies ;-)
Personally I was quite impressed with him - intelligent runs and was a bit of a nuisance. You can't really expect much more than that from a kid of his age.
He is not as exceptional at Shelvey yet but I saw enough to warrant keeping him around.

Thought he looked pretty sharp, got some pace a seems a good touch, was hard to tel really, he's not a lone striker type though.
Shall be looking forward to see how he progress's and keen to see how he does with another skriker to feed and feed off.
