[cite]Posted By: c4fcdenmark[/cite]Good article, glad people are begining to speak out over this catastrophic appointment; many feel the same way.
Agreed. At any other club the bloke wouldn't have to apologise and tip toe around the subject constantly saying "I'm not getting on anyone's back". As fans we are the masters of tolerating incompetence. I don't believe another side in the division would have shown such patience in the face of such a debacle.
Its fine mouthing off about it in the newspapers, on message boards and the like but until people actually do something constructive (like the Fans Forum for example) what do you want to happen.?
Burn effigies? Go on hunger strikers? Have a turd in a brown bag, set it alight, ring the doorbell on The Valley reception and run away?
The fans forum minutes were sadly very passive. No where, even under footballing matters, is there a mention of our league position or mention of results under Parky. It struck me that people were too afraid to even mention this.
AFKA observed: ''Would prefer either Halle or Chuck to be honest NS''...
I'll leave you to your own Halle Berry fantasies, AFKA, but Chuck offers this:
''Well the temperature's rising and the fans are blowing a fuse My heart's beating rhythm And the north stand's singing the blues Roll over Parkinson and tell Richard Murray the news...''
[cite]Posted By: March51[/cite]But how did he get on the next season, Oggy? Anyway , I thought it was the Dave Berry that did 'The Crying Game', more fitting somehow
Our Les proudly played his part in our 3rd Division promotion run.
Any chance of re-signing him now for his experience?
;o)
'ha ha ....'The Crying Game' ...... a short history of supporting Charlton Athletic since 1951 ?
[cite]Posted By: Elthamaddick[/cite]who else thought they had an interview with Les Berry before clicking on the link
Me n all Eltham, must be an age thing.
Some fair points raised in the article but didn't like the implication that he was in the minority of fans who wanted to keep Curbs. Yet again it's been turned around and implied that 1000's were protesting and wanted him out. Not and never was the case as been argued on endlessly on here and elsewhere.

I can make out one really tedious link as to who he "knows" inside the club as well. ;-)
Yawn... Lets just keep Parky then, I'm sure that's what 14000 season ticket holders want...
lol for a split second yes i did!!
That could well be next : )

(and no, online petitions are not the answer)

Me...! lol
So Mr News Hopper, what's the real Les Berry got to say about our plight .......?
"Having been a stalwart and defensive lynchpin of the side relegated out of sight in 1980, I'd just like to say ...."
Thank you, Les.
