So, what will Parky be saying to the team ........

edited April 2009 in General Charlton
at ten to three on Saturday. Will it be a stirring 'up and at 'em , let's show 'em what we can really do' type speech, or a quiet, apologetic, almost embaressed 'go and do your best lads, it's not really my fault ' mumble. Personally I think he should take the day off but I suppose he's got to be there in case the game's sponsors turn up!

  • Maybe, "hey lads there are scouts from Sunderland, West Brom, Wolves and Stoke in the stands".

More likely it'll be the old "let's do it for the fans" eyewash.
  • After the Norwich City game, I think he'll be saying, "it's been nice knowing you fellas. Good luck next season getting back to The Championship!"
  • PP

" Right guys we have been through the drill 30 odd times this season I want you to lose your man at corners and Free kicks, i want you to be as far away in midfield from your oposite number, I want you to ghost around infront of the defence as if they can not see you,"

"This time though i want you to do all of the above in the goal area we are attacking not defending"

"Lets show these poor long suffering bstds i know what i am saying and you lot know what your doing"

"and by the way Thanks for fuk all"

More likely good luck next season in the championship, with your new clubs
  • HE's got good performances out of the team for the last four matches and the downhill 2nd half performances have stopped so I hope he just carrys on saying whatever he has been.

beg to differ, unless 'good' now means 'average'

come on large we have to lower our expectations accordingly , remember next year an away point at hartlepool will be a 'good' result where as 3 years ago it would have been 'chuff' ;-(

Nothing much wrong with the side now ...... just lacking the finishing in front of goal.
