The Division 3 promotion battle

edited April 2009 in General Charlton
Brentford 42 76 +24
Exeter 43 72 +13
Wycombe 42 71 +18
Bury 43 71 +16
Rochdale 43 69 +14
Gillingham 43 68 +1
Chesterfield 43 63 +9
Shrewsbury 43 62 +15
Bradford 43 61 +9
Dag & Red 42 59 +17
Morecambe 42 59 +1

Purely from a personal perspective, any teams you would like to see come up from Div 3?

Woudl be nice to see Rochdale make it - fond memories of the FA Cup game & their fans from a few years back. Morecambe would be great to combine with a long weekend in the Lake District I guess....actually in Exeter, Chesterfield & Shrewsbury there are some good (long weekend) away trips in there.

Can't say Bury or Bradford appeals too much.

  • Saw the thread title and thought we looking forward to next year with optimism...
Burst my bubble why don't you?!
    :(
  • Not Dagenham even if it is a local one. Horrible little club.

Like Bradford even if events there on 13 October 1905 go against it.

Rochdale for the cup game and because they have been in that division longer than anyone else and their fans deserve a promotion.

Brentford is local and Shewsbury have a new ground.

Pretty long weekend trips, Oakster. Especially from Canada.

Rochdale,Shrewsbury and Morecombe as they are new grounds for me
  • Come on the Gils! OK, Scally is beyond the pale. But they're the only league club in Kent, the county in which I've lived for more than half a century and I always look for their result after ours...

Paul Tisdale ..... I reckon Exeterrrr have unearthed a diamond there.

Got his finger on the pulse, great man management, tactically astute, plays an attractive neat passing game, on his way to a second consecutive promotion with Exeter.

And he knows how to get the best out of Fleetwood.

    Watch Paul Tisdale.
  • But surely this is Division 4 that you're talking about?
