Wotte and Parkinson charged by FA

The Football Association has charged Southampton manager Mark Wotte and his opposite number at Charlton, Phil Parkinson, with improper conduct.

The charge relates to a touchline confrontation between the pair during Saturday's match at St Mary's.

The game was a full-blooded affair between two sides facing relegation from the Championship and ended in a 3-2 win for Charlton.

The managers have until 28 April to respond to the charges.
