Have just been trying to find out some info about Therry playing fro Guadeloupe on the net - with little success

anybody else got anything?

I couldn't even find mention of a Guadeloupe friendly in the last week or so

    As an overseas department of the French Republic Guadeloupe is not a member of FIFA, and therefore is not eligible to enter the World Cup. However, they are eligible for all CONCACAF and CFU competitions.

    A lot of the French team have African or Caribbean (well, the French ones) roots.

    They are well fancied for the Gold Cup. They were semi finalists in 2007 and are expected to go one further this time even though the nation is not recognised by FIFA. Bermuda didn't qualify.

    The tournament is being held in the US, with the semis in Chicago and final in NY.
