"The pressure is off to an extent. In one way it is and in another it is not.
"We've got to put pressure on ourselves to make sure we put in a good performance on Saturday, so there are demands on us from me to the players to make sure we put on a good performance."
Just pray to god we have learnt our lesson for next year, only bring in players who make the team better, no panic loanees, if a player signs on loan for the season he STAYS for the season no being nicked by other clubs! home grown talent first if not up to then have a look at whats about, do this and we will be in a much better shape then we are now.
Douala has slipped through the net on the back of loan deals that have now no use to us whatsoever. Surely if we sent them back we could have afforded him ?
why are we worrying about bringing anyone in ? It's all money down the pan. Might as well keep it for next season's budget. And let Soares go back, play Sam or Wagstaff who we are already paying and save Tom's wages too. Same with Butternut when the month is up, play Solly or Moots or even Holland there. Save as much as possible so that we can use it next season when we really need it. We're down, next season is now much more important than this one.
i agree with you large. But maybe parky doesn't think he can admit that we're down until we're mathematically relegated. He might not want to publicly show we've given up on avoiding relegation. That may be why he won't get rid of the loan players and play the kids, like we all want him to.
I also agree, might not happen until the last four games or so. Hard to see him playing any of the youngsters for 8 games while we can mathematically stay up. Especially after what the OS said, sounds as if the team will be the same.
who gives a monkeys what the Parky twat has to say , he is a joke , why not get 11 loan players every week and replace them with another lot the week after , paradoxically we might have more stability than we have shown so far this season ......................come on the rose tinted optimists
CHARLTON are ready to offload Nicky Weaver, Svetoslav Todorov and Darren Ambrose before next week’s deadline for loan deals.
The experienced former Premier League trio - all out of contract at the end of the season - are expected to attract interest, especially from clubs pushing for promotion at the top of the Championship.
And the Addicks, who look destined for League One, will not block any approaches for their big-earners.
I can see now why Parky has been playing 4-5-1. If Toddy goes the only strikers in the building will be Kandol and Burton. Just have to pray that Kandol doesn't get injured.

so no pressure for a win then.
Kinsella: "We're targetting 27pts from the last nine games, and if not 27 then 24.''
Parky: ''The pressure is off to an extent''.
Good job that the players give little indication that they actually listen to either of them !
No one expects us to stay up now, so the pressure is definitely off.
But until we are mathematically down we should be giving it a go - all we need is a run of form like Doncaster had!
