    So I'm often told ; - )

Don't know if you saw my other messages but Joe is enjoying Ship of Ghosts (on the last chapter) so thanks again and good to meet you.
  • I really think he could be primed for next season, and could be a real good thing in League 1.

No, I didn't see the messages. Glad to hear that Joe is enjoying the book.

  • Seems obvious to me, the lad just wants to play.

He's just thinking if he can't play in the 3rd Division with Charlton,
then he might just as well play in the 3rd Division with Exeter.

He'll no doubt give up a better contract at Charlton, so that might be an issue.

Compromise: season long loan to Exeter, with the difference in wages picked up by Charlton..... ?

We are now in the same division as Exeter, dear oh dear. 2 years ago they were in the conference. Happy days!
  • "Exeter City boss Paul Tisdale has identified a striker as one of his summer targets, but has ruled out former loanee Stuart Fleetword as one of them".

    From Sky Sports website.

I saw that, should really put up the rest of the story-
"But he is a player we would be interested in if they didn't want him.

"He did extremely well for us while he was here last season, but if Charlton want to keep him there then we can't do anything about that."

So they'd be interested if we made him available. Could well happen depending on what happens with our other strikers and if we bring any in.
