Kenny achempong will be stocking the shelfs in tesscos as henry is on his weekly day trip to the supermarket organized by the council to get his mash potato and soft eggs and complan ;-)
My son and I were in the checkout queue at Sainsbury's in Bexleyheath six or seven years ago and Glenn Johnson, who was just breaking into West Hams first team was in front of us buying cat food- the give away though was that he was wearing his WHU training kit with his name on it!!!!! And earlier this season on my way to collect my son for a home game, I stopped at McDonalds near the Medway Tunnel to get breeakfast and Gillingham Midfielder, Adam Miller was in the queue in front of me also buying a Maccy D in his training kit- ON A MATCH DAY!!!!
I have seen a few players 'out of school' the best one was in the 'costcutter' in Bexley village and saw Sir Clive..... Nothing particularly special in that, but I had the Bexley juniors football team with me and I was wearing a Charlton shirt having just had a training session on the local green... I turned round and there he was, with his family outside in the waiting car " Nice shirt" he said I think I turned the same shade as the first team shirt.

I think you'll find they only have Waitrose in Bromley mate.
;-)
Not so, the DIY store in Holmesdale Rd is now a Tescos and so my local store.
But there is a Waitrose in Bromley town centre too. : - )
Shock news is that the Bennetton in Bromley has closed down. For five bonus points which Lifer once worked in that shop (no, not me)
It's good but it's not right.
Roy Walker??
Can't see it somehow : - )
