I love your optimism mate but this did make me lol!
  • Is there still a case for playing loanees or should we be blooding youngsters who may be part of the equation next year?

we need Ward and Kandol imo. I'd drop Soares as he isn't doing it.
  • Loanees should only be playing if there is a chance of them being around next season (ie Kandol) or we have no other alternative (ie Ward).

Soares won't even consider playing in Div One so send him back to Stoke or Palace or whereever he came from - he doesn't actually seem to be any good either

Butterfield haven't seen enough of to comment on - thought he looked ordinary against Doncaster - but as Parkinson won't pick Moutakill then I guess he has to stay and play

Do we have any other loanees?

I think the only current loanees are Soares, Ward, Kandol and Butterfield.
  • You should have stopped boring your missus, mates and family weeks ago Adam, the talk used to be about us getting 50 points and escaping but looking at our run in I do not think we will reach 40!

I can only see us scraping a win against Blackpool at home and maybe Norwich in the last game of the season and that is only because we will deffo be down and they might be safe, if Norwich need a point or three they will turn us over.

Sorry mate, time for a reality check
  • That would be a great run-in if we were chasing promotion.

I know were down mate but you have to try and be positive.. it aint over till its over..
  • even if we are doomed to go down I would like to see us **** up as many teams as possible for their respective fight for promotion or to avoid relegation.

so wins against Norwich, Southampton, Cardiff, birmingham and preston the order of the day

  • us and plymouth have the nicer run in.
  • Where ever we are, we need a solid back four. If butterfield was available and we managed to get ok money for the likes of zz , ambrose, etc I think it would be a good buy.

Blackpool have the best away record of any side in the bottom half so even that one is dodgy considering the ONLY team we have beaten at home in the bottom half is Plymouth. That in itself is a shocking damning statistic.

That was me being positive, take a look at some of my negative threads!!!! :-)

I know what you mean Adam and I admire your positive thoughts and the fact that mathamaticaly we are not down, but for my own sanity, mood swings, family and blood pressure I made my mind up several games ago that I will be watching League one football next season, and do you know what, it feels like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders.

Nuff said then Large, I did not realise that stat and yes, it is shocking but that sums up this dreadful season in a nutshell.

Make that one possible win then against an already safe or relegated Norwich in the last game!
  • I reckon we'll relegate Norwich on the last day of the season.
