Good to hear but it seems like he might be released at the end of the season.
Thought he would do well for them, could surely play at a higher level, at least BS Prem?
Welling put highlights (free) on their website.
Higlights from last week, Arter (number 11) smashes a long range shot against the bar
Charlton haven't offered arter anything as yet so he'll have to get fit and see what happens at the end of the season.
Good to hear. Apparently in a pre-season game one of our fans hit him and told him it was for "that prick Parker". Some of our fans sicken me.
I'm guessing that's also the case for players like Wright and Yussuff as well?
I think they are brother-in-laws...
Arter's career took a step back when he missed a lot of football with injury so its good to see him fulfilling his potential. His problem at Charlton though will be getting a game - ahead of him in central midfield are Shelvey, Racon, Spring, Bailey, Semedo and Wright (of the players likely to be around next season). If he stays will he get enough serious football to progress? And bear in mind he went to Gillingham and didn't impress in a short trial.
Perhaps loan him to Welling for a year and then take another look at him.
Apparently he did well, but it sounded like they wanted someone more experienced. They needed a player they knew could play consistently well, which you don't often get with younger players.
Still he'd have been a free and in terms of wages cheap, but who do they think they are going to get?
So excited but nervous about Welling with Harry Arter facing us in this cup semi-final Lol, think it be great to see some Charlton Fans there getting some Kent Senior Cup Action Hopefully Charlton Reserves will feature next season. x

Arter, with Blue Square South side Welling for the remainder of the season, went close to putting the Wings in front but his shot hit the side-netting after a quick throw-in caught the Hampton defence napping.
But Arter had a hand in Welling's opener, passing to Moses Ademola, who controlled well before firing home.
It was 2-0 three minutes before the break when Ademola was brought down inside the box by Orlando Jeffrey and the referee duly pointed to the spot.
James Baker stepped up and calmly slotted the ball home, sending the keeper the wrong way.
Chances were limited in the second period but the Wings increased their advantage on 76 minutes when Ademola crossed for Baker to prod into an empty net.
To round off a good day at the office for Welling, Arter set up Jack Parkinson to head home his first league goal in a Wings shirt to make it 4-0 in stoppage time.
The win takes Welling up to seventh place in the table, although they are nine points outside the play-off places.
The Wings are next in action on Tuesday (7.45pm) when they welcome Ramsgate to Park View Road in the Kent Senior Cup semi-final.
Meanwhile, Izale McLeod is set to hold talks with Millwall boss Kenny Jackett this week in a bid to resolve their recent disagreement.
Addicks striker McLeod joined the Lions on loan until the end of the season in January, but has been left in limbo after the League One side issued a statement saying the forward had returned to The Valley by mutual consent.
Under Football League loan rules, the striker cannot represent the Addicks for the rest of the campaign, either at first-team or reserve level, but it appears the problem could soon be settled.
Speaking after Millwall's 1-0 home defeat to leaders Leicester City on Saturday, Jackett said: "I'll speak to Izale next week about where we go from here. There's been a bit of a cooling-off period so we'll see what the situation is."
Finally, Addicks winger Martin Christensen was on target at Lyngby Boldlkub earned a 5-4 friendly win over Swedish outfit Svenske Ängelholms on Saturday.
In the final game before the Danish season gets under way, Christensen scored in the 84th minute to net his loan's side's fifth goal. Lyngby travel to Skive on Sunday.
better late than never i guess

"Once again Arter was outstanding, and gives us that little bit more quality we were lacking before he came and is one of the reason our form's improved. That knock off the defender to win the corner at the end was class."
With him in the side the have thrashed play-off contenders Hampton 4-0 and beaten the runaway leaders at home.
I know this is three tiers below where we will be playing next season, but given he's had a year out of the game and is still finding his way back to fitness, I think it would be a massive mistake to not to offer him a decent contract renewal. To loose him whilst playing the innocuous Spring would be criminal.
You say it's 3 tiers below but AFC Wimbledon are pretty much a Conference team in all but name so if he's impressing against them then when fully fit he can surely do it a higher level. As i said above i think we should definitely offer him another year, give him a good pre-season, maybe loan him out til xmas and see how he does. I doubt he'd cost much in wages anyway.
