Tragic that we are going into games against teams with strikers of the size of Iwelumo with Holland as a CB. Not saying he was at fault for the goal, but just like Bristol City it is only a matter of time before the 'big lump' upfront scores when we have such a short CB there.
They're not fancy Premiership footballers, so won't throw tantrrums and hand in transfer requests if we go down. & from the sounds of it, we're not in particularly bad financial trouble so we have no reason to let them go.

They have agents and if their agents can get them better deals at other Champonship clubs then they'll be off.

Doesn't stop offers coming in.
Bailey's caused problems at his previous clubs as well hasn't he?
Clubs will be looking to take advantage of our situation and take our better players. We won't keep everyone we want to.

Not if the club say no, you're not going. Fingers crossed. I just don't feel those players will be that bothered if they are unable to move elsewhere, only the agents.
Sounds like we did OK first half. But of the bottom eight clubs, it's only us and Forest losing at h/t.
We have battled with more spirit in recent games but there's no getting away from the fact that every other side in the relegation zone/ or in danger of getting sucked into it , has shown tougher, more resilient qualities than we have.
I'm coming round to the view that Parky and the team have given of their best in recent weeks, but our best sadly is simply not good enough for this league.
Let's start planning for next season and a swift return.

...........
Ultimately it'll come down to money, if they are offered better deals elsewhere then they'll go.
Financially we will have to listen to all serious offers and maybe one or two silly offers. While I hope we can keep Bailey, Shelvey, Racon etc I suspect that if a good offer comes in, it'll be accepted.
Comments
Racon, Bailey & Spring will.
hope so
Spring will be. Or he will at least be part of our squad.
We have a chance of keeping Bailey and Racon if we're lucky enough.
Didn't you hear? We're going in administration tonight
What .... on a Saturday night?
Good timing.

We've got 45 minutes football to play first.

Well the likes of Butterfield, Saores, Hudson and ZZ have, it's true.
But we can afford to take a longer perspective and look ahead to what happens when they're all gone in the summer...
