In advance of tonight's game, just looked up the starting XI from when we beat Reading earlier in the season.
Weaver
Moots Hudson Fortune Basey
Sam Bailey Holland Bouazza
Gray Varney
Only Hudson, Bailey and possibly Sam from that XI will start tonight. So it's very much Parky's team. We can't go on blaming the toxic Pardew inheritance forever!

Bouazza was recalled and would still be in the playing squad.
maybe it was his brilliant coaching when pardew was in charge that people aren't willing to forget too easily after this rather unlucky run of results
Interestng to compare it with the very different XI (8 or 9 changes) who are going to start tonight.
If Charlton Aug 2008 played Charlton March 2009, which XI do you reckon would win? I have to say my money would be on the Aug 08 team !
on edit: and I've just noticed Bouazza was the only loanee in the side last August...
Fair play, but two of those have gone and two are out for the season, and I think we all prefer Elliot to Weaver, likewise Racon to Holland but I still firmly believe Moo2 should be playing
Add the 2 who have left, Bouazza and Varney.
Basey, who gave away a soft penalty that match, only played because Youga was suspended.
Racon had played well the previous match at Watford (but had picked up serious injury).
Surely both Youga and Racon would have played in that Pardew match if available?
Holland is a bit of an old knacker, but still gets regular appearances.
Sam played last reasonably well last Saturday - so maybe he's not fit?
So the main 2 out of favour are Moo2 and Weaver (who the club say has been unfit until last week).
Maybe many of the changes can be seen to have been forced upon the team, rather than by the manager deliberately not choosing the previous manager's squad .... ?
