I stayed till the very sorry end on Saturday. Fully understand that Ward has played for Watford however he was walking off laughing and joking with the Watford players and coaching staff. That is a disgrace and just outlines the type of mentality all of our loan players and current squad have.
I also think when Toddy came on he just strolled around and did not chase down any balls, he needs to go.

I disagree, Ward is welcome to laugh and joke with Watford players and coaching staff, why is it a disgrace, we lost should he have refused to chat to his friends like a sore loser?
Toddy does need to go and will at the end of the season, we could however get rid of him now and pay off his contract early but would this save us money probably not!
Are you saying he should not have any friends unless they are CAFC staff and players?
I think the point being made is that a committed player should be too gutted after a defeat to muck about with the oppo and I can empathise with that viewpoint.
As I said earlier though I don't question Ward's commitment in this instance.
I saw the same thing and was pretty hacked off about it. Sure he is mates with them but it is pretty poor judgement to stay on the pitch to chat and laugh, you have plenty of time after the game to do so out of the eye of the people who have paid to see their team dissapear into League1.
Not the best header of a ball which might explain the above point.
Earlier this season he played around 10 games for Watford, on loan from Wolves.
He's bound to have a lot of feeling for Watford, and would know virtually all the players.
Providing he gave 100% for the Charlton shirt during the game, you can't really blame him for talking to his old mates.
Whether he should have stayed grimly silent, and run to the tunnel with head bowed, in front of a fast emptying ground - I don't know if most supporters truly expected that.
Glad to hear you had a good night out in Guildford - makes Saturdays worthwhile.
