Thats it for me this season. Bring on next.

My disapointment cannot get any worse I have got all my moaning and negativity out of my system on this board. Now I want to get ready for next season albeit about 10 games too early and look forward as I always do to new signings, pre season games and finally supporting Charlton which is what I do. Common you reds !

  • Can't wait for this season to be over.

In a strange way i'm looking forward to next season.
  • No more negative posts from me this term. Fully committed to the cause for next now.
  • Strange thing is I think once the realisation hits that we are down and all hope is gone, the anger goes. I have enjoyed the last two games more than most this season. I loved Doncaster's football and thought we played some lovely stuff at times against Watford (well first half) and there were some very good goals in there.

I'm glad someone else has said that so i know its not just me.
  • Yeah i would rather we just get put out our misery. We all know we're not good enough, we all have accepted our fate (i should think), let's just scrap this season and get on with it.

Derby away will be a party atmosphere.
  • AFKA

I am looking at the rest of this season as pressure less football, sure I will be slightly miffed when we lose but as the old saying goes "win or lose...."

    Me too
  • My anger dissipated some time back only to be replaced by a nagging fear that we still won't halt this downward spiral. Everyone says it's very hard to stop, failure breeds failure blah, blah. I don't know how I'll feel if the players now put in some first rate performanaces as they showcase their talents for their next clubs. I love your optimisic mood, but I really can't latch onto it, I'm hoping the break and the summer sun work their usual magic. But good on you guys.
  • We have also gotta encourage fans to get season tickets next year for show of support...that's not going to be an easy job but try and persuade anybody not to give - remember Charlton is for life and not just for the premiership :o)
  • I did a token 'poll' at our coach stop in Kent. Of the 10 there, 8 were going to renew, 1 was going to pick and choose and another was holding pending possible bad news on the job front. I thought that was encouraging as we Kent folk are usually accused of being fairweather fans. I would like to see us all holding up "We're going to renew" signs at the matches.

If you are from Kent and love your football, what's the alternative to watching Charlton - Gillingham? lol
