My old man started taking me to valley when I were knee height to a grasshopper, and he was there for the 80 odd k that packed into the Valley that day in the late 30's I started following in the mid 80's, I'm just surprised the speed of the decline like many are, may be Dowie should have stayed longer , Les Read was not the answer
