    It would be money down the pan though, dude. Not that I don't agree he's a good forward who can also play out wide (a part of the park that seems to be invisible to the Parkster), just that we're down so what's the point of spending out on a player when it just can't make a difference. Save our pennies for next year's hilarity.

    They did.

    Just like we used the freed up wages from Murty to get Butterfield. Parkinson's talking about this Douala now, sounds like he's hoping we've got room on the wage bill to get him in.

    Wonder if we had a chance of getting Stokes, Pakies dilema - do we get a striker for our non striking strrikers or do we get a defender for our non defending right back!!

    I assume that whilst we may take Doula this season it will be as a player for next season.

    Mathematically we can survive...although I doubt we will.

    Parky knows that there'll be quite a few players moving on in the summer and maybe we can get a few replacements in now and get a look at them.

    McSheffrey is a good player at this level but would never have joined us permanently, and highly unlikely to turn around the situation now so not worth paying out any money for him on loan unfortunately.
