Mar 5 1994 Bolton 3-2 Charlton
This game took place a week before the Man U game (a fixture many say completely messed up our season cosisting of 61 games). All I remember from this one was mcGinlay scoring in the first minute and getting another two. Pardew scored for us. I left the ground before Robson scored in injury time. Burnden Park - what a horrible place. Where else would allow a supermarket to be built in the stadium?

What a game - what a season. 0-0 after 80 mins before Bambi pelted one in. Hunty scored a minute later. 400 of us in hysterics. First visit to Reebok for me. I recall we played them in the cup weeks previously which will always be remembered for all the wrong reasons.

Cup game was 1 week previous if I remember rightly. I admit i only did the Cup one - not that I regret it (except the result and performance). Still remember robbo missing a sitter with mins to go.
3.5k one week in the Cup
400 the next in the league - Thats Charlton for ya, or should i say thats the magic of the FA Cup!!
Went up with a mate on the Junior Reds coach for the league game (despite the fact we were both approaching 18). This was the one benefit of not having even heard of Gillette at that age. They did a draw on the coach and my mate was chosen as Mascot. He made a big point of telling me to be in my seat for when he and the players come out for the warm up, as he had a little pre-match 'jig' planned.
Being bitter, i decided to scrap that and go to those shops around the Reebok in the time i had to spare before kick off. Met a lovely (slight exageration) local lass there, got chatting, and took her for a 'romantic meal' to McDonalds (nothing changes). This was followed by a quick 'pash' and i was in my seat just after kick off.
With three points to follow, and a for once successful attempt to get served in the Oak when we got back, got to be in my top 20 away days.
THE END
