Injured Sinclair back at Charlton

From BBC

Charlton midfielder Dean Sinclair has returned from his loan spell at Grimsby early after the recurrence of a persistent hamstring injury.

The 24-year-old's spell would have been up after Saturday's game with Lincoln, however the injury he suffered against Rochdale last weekend ended it early.

The former Barnet man scored one goal in nine games at Blundell Park.

Grimsby assistant boss Stuart Watkiss said: "I don't think he's doing himself justice playing when clearly unfit."

The switch to Grimsby was Sinclair's second loan move of the season following a temporary spell at Cheltenham earlier this term.

Watkiss added: "We all know that a fit Dean Sinclair strengthens the team. He has a bit of an ongoing problem. I think we are at the stage now where he's got to do the right thing by himself."

In Sinclair's absence, the Mariners slipped into the League Two relegation places after a 1-0 home defeat by leaders Brentford.
