Next season

Well, IMO, we are gone, too little too late, but that's it for us, going to start planning for an old skool tour next season.

Already looking forward to weekenders at Brighton(hope they stay up) Southend, not been to Colchester since the early 80's cup game (82 or 83?), Bristol Rovers, Never been to Hartlepool and could be an excuse for a cheeky weekend in Whitley Bay, Yeovil will be a good away trip, and maybe a long trip to Carlisle to bring back some memories from the promotion game in 86.

So, not all doom & gloom, some great old grounds to visit, some very decent towns to visit and possibly a few weekenders in the offering.

We will still have a CAFC, different league, that's all, different expectations, different targets, and maybe, just maybe, Shelvey will honour his contract and the club hold their nerve and he leads a charge back to the Championship.

Live, Love, Laugh & Be Happy

P.S.....the minibuses will be cheap with me!

Do you know what, that dont bother me, at least I will know I am surrounded by true CAFC fans, going back to the old days, might even bleach my hair and put some earrings in with a Pringle jumper and Lois cords.
  • with the acoustics and the atmosphere at the Valley being crap already, with 8 or so thousand less fans in the ground it will surely be like watching football in a library
  • Now is definitely the time to move the home end to the Jimmy Seed
  • just come off the phone to a old school mate re next season and we both think that we will still be going down The Valley a good bit (work permitting) and maybe get to a few more away games as well -----------------if its old school will the mini buses actually turn out to be builders vans complete with the cement bags still in the back ? ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh The Mr Frame Specials ---- good old days.
  • Bit gutted we won't be going back to Layer Road.
  • Never forget the time we stopped for a piss on the moors somewhere and KG threw a sheep in the back of the van and shut the door with me and another stuck in!
    Poor sheep!
